Established in 2026 by Kim Koerner, Handsmith Studio is a luxury gift wrapping studio specializing in exquisite, bespoke designs created to reflect your heart, your brand, or your special occasion.

As an artisan, with almost two decades of jewelry design experience, Kim brings a refined understanding of detail, balance, and craftsmanship to every creation. She combines her design expertise with a passion for many artistic traditions, including French Cartonnage, Quilling, Calligraphy, Silk Ribbon techniques, Thread and Bead Embroidery, and Japanese wrapping arts such as Origami, Orikata, Mizuhiki, and Furoshiki.

Kim has studied under and received mentorship from Jean Means, the gift wrapper of choice for European royalty. She continues her education as a founding member of Tsumugu Online Wrapping Community, studying with internationally recognized artists including Shiho Masuda, Satoko Ozaki, and Hiroko Ohno.
